My approach to therapy

I am a fully qualified, BACP registered, integrative therapist with a particular passion for supporting people experiencing anxiety and imposter syndrome. My approach to anxiety management is holistic, encompassing everything from sleep, diet, lifestyle factors, thought patterns, internal belief systems and physical & emotional health.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

My practice is heavily based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), where the focus is not on trying to change or eliminate difficult thoughts and feelings but instead teaches us different ways of interacting with them so that they don’t hold power over us. I work with clients to establish value-driven goals and help them to develop the emotional skillset to reach these goals.

Supporting professionals across the UK

Whilst I am based in the hills of South Wales, I work with clients all over the UK via Zoom to create lasting and meaningful change in their lives. I have a particular focus on helping professionals to identify what is holding them back in their careers, whether that’s anxious thought patterns, imposter syndrome or low self confidence, and how we can move forward differently.

Wellbeing as a way of living

I believe that wellbeing is an ongoing practice for all of us rather than a destination to be reached. While life can be busy and imperfect, I try to live by many of the principles I explore with my clients. Outside of my work, you’ll often find me walking in nature with my trusty Golden Retriever, practising yoga, or enjoying a good book. These moments help me stay grounded and remind me of the value of making space for our wellbeing, even amidst the demands of everyday life.
